For his doctorate, Igor is working on phylogeography and species delimitation in Caiman crocodilus (Crocodylia, Alligatoridae). Igor, in general, has interest in taxonomy, systematics, natural history and conservation of reptiles and amphibians. Igor is doing his Ph.D. in the Zoology program of UFAM with Izeni Farias and Robson W. Ávila.
