M.Sc. in 2013 with Izeni Pires Farias and Zilca Campos
For his Masters, Fabinho undertook a phylogeographic study of Paleosuchus palpebrosus sampled along the extent of the Madeira River and the upper Paraguai River. Currently he is developing his Ph.D. also with Paleosuchus palpebrosus, extending his sampling to the rest of the distribution of Paleosuchus palpebrosus, and using genomic approaches to better understand differentiation in the Madeira River basin. Fabinho did his Masters in the INPA/UFAM Genetics, Conservation and Evolutionary Biology program where he is also continuing with his Ph.D. with Tomas Hrbek and Zilca Campos.
