M.Sc. 2010 with Guilhermo Ortí (GWU)

Jason was a student in the Biology program of the University of Puerto Rico Rio Piedras campus where he was advised by Tomas Hrbek. Jason was interested in using ecological genomic approaches to study Aspergillosis of the purple seafans Gorgonia ventalina. Jason left Puerto Rico and the program to pursue his Masters in the laboratory of Guillermo Ortí at University of Nebraska, Lincoln (UNL). Jason finished in Masters in 2010, and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in The Ohio State University (OSU) studying venom evolution in sea anemonies.
