M.Sc. 2009 with Tomas Hrbek and Izeni Farias
Kelmer finished his Masters in the Biodiversity program of UFAM. For his project he studied spatial and temporal population structuring of the large-scale jaraqui (Semaprochilodus insignis, Prochilodontidae, Characiformes). Prochilodontids are detrivores, and play a major role in nutrient cycling in Neotropical rivers.
